Murder Mystery Dinner

Whodunnit? Join us for a night of fun with a party that's to "die" for!

The United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties is hosting a Murder Mystery Dinner Fundraiser to benefit youth opportunities in both counties!

The event, featuring Murder and Merriment, will be Wednesday, Sept. 18, at Tuscan Ridge, 2424 Stewartstown Road, Morgantown, WV. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Show starts at 7 p.m.

Raffle chances, tip games, and clues to the evening's mystery will be available for purchase.

Power of the Purse

Power of the Purse to feature purse auctions AND raffles!

Women United will host its sixth annual Power of the Purse Fundraiser on Thursday, June 27, 2024. The event will bring together hundreds of area women and men supporters who want to build a stronger community by raising money for early childhood education.

The Power of the Purse event will feature more than a dozen silent auctions of mid- to high-end purses, food and drinks.

Women United Networking Event

Women United, an affinity group of the United Way, will hold a special networking event from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, at The Shoppes on Pineview, on Pineview Drive in Morgantown.

This is a unique opportunity to support and visit seven, female-owned businesses! The Shoppes on Pineview include Edgar Rae Interior Design Studio & Apparel, Coco & June, Baker Cheese Company, Peri + Company, Honey, Melissa Powers CPA & Associates, and Almost Heaven Mobile Hydration.

We'll learn:

  3. How to protect yourself and your loved ones.

This is an in-person event at the Mon Health Conference Center. Free parking is available onsite.

Blue Jeans and Bling: Challenge of the Eras

 Bartending challenge will be held March 5 at Kegler's Clubhouse

Get ready for the challenge of the eras!

Teams of two will battle it out in a bartending challenge from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, at Kegler's Clubhouse in Morgantown. Which one will be victorious? Well, that's up to you!

Team Gen X — 5:30-6:20 p.m. — Jane Haines, of Clear Mountain Bank, & Michelle Duda, of Compass Realty Group

Team Gen Y — 6:30-7:20 p.m. — Chelsea Brown, of Bowles Rice, & Anna Carrier, of Black Diamond Realty
