Giving Tuesday: Join the hand-raisers and invest in your community

The United Way is invested in our community. It works every day to fight for the education, financial stability, and health and wellness of our friends and neighbors.
We’re asking you to invest in your community and help raise $1,345,000 that will support vital health and human service programs throughout Monongalia and Preston counties. Every dollar raised here, stays here. No gift is too small to make a huge impact.
This is our home. Plant your roots, volunteer, advocate, donate, be a leader, tell your story. Let’s invest in our community together. We can’t reach our goal without your support.

Your contribution may be used to help fund Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. The program gives one free, high-quality, age-appropriate book per month to children from birth to 5, regardless of income and is completely funded by the local United Way. The program has more than 1,800 children enrolled in Monongalia County, representing only about 30 percent of eligible children. Help us reach the rest!
Other ways your contribution could be used:
$5 feeds a hungry child over the weekend
$10 provides an elderly or disabled person a ride to a medical appointment
$50 gives a family of four groceries for one week
$80 provides utilities for a family in need for one month
$100 gives five weeks of before and afterschool care for a child
We invite you to be part of the change. Together, we can inspire hope and create opportunities for a better tomorrow.
