Roll Wars: A Friendly Competition for Our Fall Hygiene Drive
United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties invites all WVU Greek Life organizations to join Roll Wars, a fun and impactful competition to collect toilet paper and paper towel rolls for our Fall Hygiene Drive!
How to Play:
Each fraternity or sorority competes as a team. Earn or sabotage points based on what you donate — and where you place it!
- +1 Point for each toilet paper roll placed in your own team’s bin
- –1 Point for each paper towel roll placed in your own team’s bin
Sabotage alert! Drop paper towels in your rivals’ bins to lower their score — but remember, no tampering with anyone’s bin contents.
Rules to Keep It Fair:
-
All rolls must be sealed/unopened to count
-
No removing items from your own or other teams’ bins
-
United Way will provide bins and weekly score sheets
-
Score updates will be shared weekly
Dates: Fall 2025
All donations support our Fall Hygiene Drive, benefitting local pantries and families in need — no matter whose bin they’re in!
What You Win:
- Assistance with your Greek Day of Service
- Exclusive access to United Way volunteer events
- Promotion of your chapter’s philanthropic events on United Way FRN social media
Want to Help But Not in Greek Life?
Everyone in the community is welcome to donate!
Support the hygiene drive by dropping off sealed/unopened toilet paper or paper towel rolls at our office or at designated bins across campus and the community.
Your donation helps stock local food pantries with much-needed hygiene supplies. Let’s work together to ensure our neighbors have what they need this fall!
