Let's get the Parton Party started!

If you wake up and think you see that a Dolly Parton party has taken place in your yard, you're not dreaming. You've been "Parton'ed."

Women United, an affinity group of the United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties, is bringing the iconic celebrity to yards throughout Monongalia County to raise awareness of our local Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. DPIL provides free books to more than 2,230 area children.

Now, you can give friends, family members or neighbors the gift of a yard full of Dollys! The Parton party is happening at various homes across the county from Nov. 1-30. Each party (flock) of Dollys will be accompanied by “You’ve Been PARTON’ed” signage, a letter explaining the arrival and a mobile link you can use to allow Dolly to “party” on to another yard (after 24 hours).
