Join Women United as they host Power of the Purse at the Erickson Alumni Center on Thursday, June 25th. This special evening brings our community together, but it's purpose is far greater than a celebration.
Power of the Purse is the only event that directly funds Dolly Parton's Imagination Library (DPIL) in Monongalia County. Because of this event, every child from birth to age five can receive a high-quality, age-appropriate book mailed to their home each month, completely free of charge to families.
Guests will enjoy an evening featuring more than a dozen silent auctions of mid-to-high-end purses, food, drinks, and exciting raffles. Each ticket includes heavy hors d'oeuvres, 2 drink and 5 raffle tickets, and reserved seating.
