Volunteers needed for Day of Caring!
The 30th Annual Day of Caring, which will feature more than 150 volunteers helping in the community at various project sites, will start at 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 11. Projects will be scheduled all day at more than 20 different locations in Monongalia and Preston counties.
Day of Caring, which will be hosted by Summit Community Bank again this year, is an annual event hosted by the United Way of Mon and Preston Counties. It's the area's largest volunteer project happening on a single day and bringing people together to create positive change in our community.
The virtual kickoff begins at 9 a.m. May 11, and service projects will be held both in the morning and afternoon.
