Women United, an affinity group of the United Way, will hold a special networking event from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, at The Shoppes on Pineview, on Pineview Drive in Morgantown.
This is a unique opportunity to support and visit seven, female-owned businesses! The Shoppes on Pineview include Edgar Rae Interior Design Studio & Apparel, Coco & June, Baker Cheese Company, Peri + Company, Honey, Melissa Powers CPA & Associates, and Almost Heaven Mobile Hydration.

Teams of two will battle it out in a bartending challenge from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, at Kegler's Clubhouse in Morgantown. Which one will be victorious? Well, that's up to you!
Team Gen X — 5:30-6:20 p.m. — Jane Haines, of Clear Mountain Bank, & Michelle Duda, of Compass Realty Group
Team Gen Y — 6:30-7:20 p.m. — Chelsea Brown, of Bowles Rice, & Anna Carrier, of Black Diamond Realty
MORGANTOWN – Honks of horns from cars and trucks filled the air Wednesday as drivers passed by United Way staff, board members and advocates on their morning commutes. The United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties officially kicked off its 2024 Campaign with a Honk and Wave hour at three locations around Morgantown and one in Kingwood.
MORGANTOWN – The area’s largest single-day volunteer project returned on Wednesday, May 10, with a whopping 230 volunteers taking part in service projects all across Monongalia and Preston counties.
On Wednesday, May 14, hundreds of volunteers will come together to make a lasting impact during the 33rd Annual Day of Caring!
One of the area’s largest rummage sales is returning to Milan Puskar Stadium on WVU graduation weekend. The 20th Annual Blue & Gold Mine Sale will be back at the East Concourse (student gate) at the stadium on Saturday, May 17, 2025.
