One of the area’s largest rummage sales is returning to Milan Puskar Stadium on WVU graduation weekend. The 20th Annual Blue & Gold Mine Sale will be back at the East Concourse (student gate) at the stadium on Saturday, May 17, 2025.
Power of the Purse
Power of the Purse to feature purse auctions AND raffles!
Women United will host its fifth annual Power of the Purse Fundraiser on Thursday, June 22, 2023. The event will bring together hundreds of area women and men supporters who want to build a stronger community by raising money for early childhood education.
The Power of the Purse event will feature more than a dozen silent auctions of mid- to high-end purses, food and drinks.
United Way raises over $1.2M during 2023 Campaign
MORGANTOWN – The United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties officially announced Tuesday, March 7, that it had raised $1,217,449 during its 2023 Campaign. The announcement was made at the campaign wrap-up, which was held Tuesday morning at the Hartley Club in the Milan Puskar Center in Morgantown.

We will also have a table set up where you can purchase an entry for our raffle!

Teams of two will battle it out in a bartending challenge from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, at Kegler's Clubhouse in Morgantown. Which one will be victorious? Well, that's up to you!
Team #1 — 5:30-6:15 p.m. — Amy Armentrout & Tina Spangler
Team #2 — 6:30-7:15 p.m. — Tammie Alexander & Bobbie Conklin

Warming shelter opens for winter 2022-'23
MORGANTOWN – As the chill of winter sets in, several organizations and individuals have come together to manage and operate a cold weather shelter. The Monongalia County warming shelter opened for the season Thursday, Dec. 1, at Hazel’s House of Hope in Morgantown.
