Most Charitable Neighborhood Competition
Now, more than ever, our neighbors need your help. The United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties has been responding to the community’s most pressing needs for more than 80 years and this year with COVID-19 it is a new challenge. The pandemic has touched all of our lives in some way or another. We are in this together, and it’s the strength of our community to lift each other up that drives real change. Your neighborhood can be recognized as the “Most Charitable Neighborhood” in our neck of the woods by giving what you can.
Participants can nominate their neighborhood by donating to the United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties and the neighborhood who collects the most dollars wins!

The competition will run from November 1-30, 2020

Cash and check donations are also accepted by mail or drop-off at the United Way, 278C Spruce Street, Morgantown, WV 26505 (please specify neighborhood)

The winning neighborhood will be named the “Most Charitable Neighborhood” and be featured in an upcoming edition of Morgantown Magazine and the Dominion Post

Residents in the winning neighborhood will receive a "special prize" in December

Any neighborhood is eligible to participate. If your neighborhood is not list on the drop down menu, select "other" and then list your neighborhoods name to be add to the menu.

The neighborhood competition is separate from donations collected through workplace campaigns and personal pledges already collected.
